The screenshot below is from the Ombudsman's contact page. They ask that you attempt to resolve the issue first. Did you attempt any or all of the 6 steps listed below?

I do not see anything wrong with your timeline. What is your field office? The fastest office is Cleveland, OH and it reports 4 months for 50% of cases. There have been reports of faster processing but that has also involved the infamous system-glitch. Your case is right on track and moving along. If you are already getting a validation error, that's a good sign.

Your application is just as important as everyone else's. However, we outnumber government officials. If we all start cluttering their desks with requests to look into our cases just because... then that lifeline will be taken away.

There are people losing TPS status who will need the Ombudsman's time and energy to help them. Some of them have been here for 2 decades - in limbo. Let's be mindful of that.

          All the best.

          • Yes, I followed most of the attempts exception about the infopass. I couldn't never find a available time

I agree what you said but I still have the right to have the option to visualize my process status. If the USCIS didn't do their Jobs fixing that glitch I am going to find a another way to try to figure this out. That is the ombudsman job and I am sure there a couple people that works there and my case its simple and it wouldn't waste their energy and time.

Yes, you are correct. You have every right to be entitled and clutter the Ombudsman's desk. "The Ombudsman is committed to reviewing all incoming requests for case assistance within 30 days, and taking action to resolve 90 percent of case-related inquiries submitted to the office within 90 days of receipt." That's straight from the Ombudsman's website.

The level 2 officer told you that your case is ready to be scheduled for interview and told you to email support. There is no glitch in your case. You can't access your case because it has likely already been moved to the scheduling queue. So you should be next in line.

You reach out to congress when your case is out of processing times, or when there is an earthquake in Haiti, and you wondering whether the orphan you are adopting is still alive; not when you can't get a status that you would like through a venue that you would prefer.

You didn't post your field office, so it's impossible to know whether your case is outside of processing times, but given that you just filed and per the level 2 officer, the current status is "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview", we can infer that it is not outside of processing times.

But you've come to the right country. Eventually, we all turn like this or some version of this. It typically takes longer - years, actually.

              All the best.

Really depending on your field office! I didn't get anything since Feb. Our field office is about 6 months to process, so I will wait till June.

What field office though? Often times they?re closed on fridays and ISOs wait until then to adjudicate cases.
Did you feel there was a reason for separating you? Some offices like Minneapolis simply separate everyone - another reason why it?s so slow.
I wouldn?t be too concerned since you had your attorney there.
Have you checked the case tracker app? and the automated phone line? MSC = 672

                            • Interview is scheduled for mid next month... my attorney at work got the notification but I have had nothing mailed to me yet.

EAD status is changed to "Card being produced" today.

It seems that EAD is always approved right before the interview. Is there any relationship between them?
