I want to thank-everyone in this forum for sharing their experiences.

Our field officer was so nice, she actually said "I have a good vibe for you guys." We were over prepared. Nervous of course.

We had almost 45 minutes chat with very causal and normal yes/no questions.

I'm overwhelmed for now, I'll share more when I settle.

But the only advice which she said, was to go through forums and see other people's experience for the next step. It helps alot, she said. And it's true. It surely does. Many of you here are witnesses.

I'll update more, or even write more later. When my mind calm down from these feelings I have.
      Congrats! Which office it is??????

You're so welcome! I am very glad you chose to prepare and that led you to have a smooth experience. It would be fantastic if you posted your experience here. https://www.immihelp.com/forum/showt...interview-tips

We have not been scheduled yet. I did reach out to my Senator, though, because we made a request to expedite my husband's travel document 85 days ago. It took 8 phone calls for an officer to acknowledge it and issue a referral number to expedite. So we shall see what happens next.

Congratulations! Please pay it forward and help anyone in need. All the best.

              • Hello

I received combo card in Apr-18
Bio-metrics done Jun-01-18 and status changed to " Ready to schedule for interview"
How long it would take to schedule?
My attorney said it can be from 6-9 month.

That depends on your field office (I believe). So the NBC is now done with your i485 (it has been cleared) and your local field office is now taking it from there. I got the "ready to be scheduled for an interview" on June 1 and already got the "We scheduled your interview and will send you a notice" on June 4.

I would not be too worried about the processing times. They're likely doing a projection to estimate how long it will all take now that they're also doing interviews for employment based AOS. It's my understanding (from posts on this site) that ISOs are keeping employment based AOS interviews brief and most of them never exceed 15 minutes.
If you look at Raleigh, NC, the blue box shows 6.5 months (50%) to 16.5 months (93%). And below these specific processing times are listed:
12 Months to 23.5 Months Employment-based adjustment applications
11.5 Months to 26 Months Family-based adjustment applications

The Raleigh office has continued processing at the same pace, as evidenced by cases on this site. 5 months +/-
Pittsburgh was also one of the fast ones. I'd just go by that.

                    • Update

I had the worst luck with my EAD combo card delivery. USPS couldn't deliver it and marked it as incorrect/undeliverable address and were going to send it back to USCIS. I had to go to the post office about 10 times in 4 days before they were eventually able to find the package. Meanwhile, during this period, they kept delivering other packages and mails to the me at the same address and I kept taking them with me to show them how my Combo card alone triggered that error. well, got sorted and now that's fixed.

My interview has been scheduled according to the email I was sent and the update on the uscis website. Just waiting for the notice now in order to prepare for the interview and hopefully get an approval.

Advice to other applicants/petitioners. Please sign up for informed delivery and stay in touch with things. If a mail is taking too long to get to you, don't wait for it to fix itself, be proactive and make moves to fix the error. USCIS kept saying contact USPS to fix it, USPS kept saying contact USCIS to resend it to the proper address lol. Glad it was resolved.

Good luck to everyone. You can check my signature for my timeline.

                      01/09/2018 - 4 Email/Text notifications
                      01/15/2018 - Four I-797 NOA letters - by mail.
                      01/23/2018 - Biometrics App. Notice for 02/06/2018
                      02/06/2018 - Biometrics done

Because I don't know if I will get an interview notice this month or next month..that is the most struggle part!
