Are you asking me? Well, I didn't do expedition. Someone told me that normally they will get back to you 2 weeks before the decision which is true for my case.

I've been following this thread for a couple of months, with the hope that I'll be able to relate my case to all of your experience. However, I'm a bit worried now since my case is kind of behind most of yours. So I just want to speak up and ask for advise. Please see my timeline as following:

Received RFIE (I-485): 02/20/2018

Inquiry (I-765) submitted: 05/15/2018

Inquiry (I-765) responded: 06/07/2108 (Case is still in normal processing time)

Since then, I haven't heard or received anything more yet. All cases are still in the state "Case Was Received". I'm living in Boston, MA and pretty sure that my cases have been handled by National Benefits Center.

Advises are truly appreciated!

Thank you!

Hey,

I have no idea what my field office is. All of my cases indicate that National Benefits Center is handling them. I'm living in Boston and sent my application to Chicago, IL.

And YES! We do have a very similar timeline!! At least you already got your EAD card while I'm still waiting for it. Where are you living?

Best!

• See our timeline below. I don't think yours is behind at all. Your PD started over when you sent the response to the RFIE. So it has only been 3 months. It took about 5 months for us to get my husbands EAD.

• expedite my case?

Hi guys
I have filed my I485 in Jan 2018 and done Finger print 31th Jan. I received my interview letter last month but they called me yesterday that they have to reschedule that because my back ground check is still pending. my medical exam singed date is July 2017. I am wondering if my case is eligible to request an expedite also, do you need if I have to take the medical again if my interview date pass the signed date?

Thanks

They called you???? That is rare...
I never picked up any call with number that not on my phone book. Now i wonder if I missed something. Better renew the medical exam if they want to re-schedule.

Yes they left me a voice mail. Do you think I can expedite my FBI check?

I think the officer processing your case at the field office may give you a call because it is way easier for them to call rather than send you a letter, or having you come in when they can't properly conduct the interview.

• Hey everybody. Here is my timeline (case sent to the National Benefits Center):

Application Filed (I-130, I-485, I-131,I-765): 01/20/18
Application delivered: 01/22/18
Checks Cashed: 01/27/18
USCIS Received Date (I-130): 01/26/18
USCIS Received Date (I-485): 01/26/18
Biometrics Notice Received: 02/02/18
Fingerprinting / Biometrics Date: 02/23/18

No RFE received.

I am still waiting for the EAD/AP card. It has been 144 days since they received my case and I have not heard anything yet. Is it normal to wait that long nowadays?

•
My 485 status has never changed.....I am not sure if it will change to "ready to schedule" or something
One of your accounts - egov.uscis.gov or my.uscis - should update. There was another member from Pittsburgj whose case was dormant for a while. His case did not move forward until he started calling USCIS and then made an Infopass appointment.

Call or do a online SR. Everyone?s checks have been super fast. Unfortunate for you maybe they can fix.

Gopnik, what's your Field Office? You can find it here using your zip code. https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-.../field-offices

It's San Francisco. Does it affect processing times for EAD/AP? I thought they send it to the processing center first.

Normally you get your EAD after your case has been transferred to your field office, which is what happened for me. I submitted documents 1/30.

BTW, my i-485 status was changed today to "card has been mailed". Hoping to be a green card holder next week!
