Yes, thats the same thing happened to my 485. My pd was 1/29. My interview is on the 7th May.

I?ve been following this thread because we filed for i-130, I485, I-765, and I-131. Today I got my initial interview and my appointment date is May 21. My timeline is:

January 27 submitted papers through USPS
January 29 USCIS received my forms (my priority date is also January 29)
February 10 received appointment for biometrics
February 28 biometrics done
April 17 received initial appointment letter scheduled for May 21

I didn?t receive any update through mail or texts. My online account still says case received.
I?ll update you guys on any other changes.

My 485 case number started giving me " User-Defined Error " message since 4/10/2018 on uscis.gov website, myaccount website works fine . I called USCIS last week and they scheduled a callback in 3-5 days. No reply. Called again today and scheduled a call back from system in about 5 hours.

IS that error message when people get scheduled for an interview?

Interview before EAD/AP received

i'm january filers no EAD but we have our interview nextweeek.

Same here, PD 1/10/2018. Interview next week (4/24/2018). Filed from Oakland, California. The processing center is NBC, and the interview at San Francisco office.

I have the same error since 03/29..
I didn't call them and I found that many cases its just a system glitch

Edit:
I just called and the lady said that I have to call back on Thursdays or Fridays to speak to the technical employees.

I just got a call back from New York number and he said its just a technical glitch, and my case is not being scheduled for an interview at this time. Oh well! how exciting.....NOT!

My PD was Jan 31st, Dallas filer. Bio was mar 14th. Just only been getting there ?we still working on your case ? like every week. Frustrating;

we started living together in December of 2017. We are together. thank you for the info. However, correct me if I am wrong. the fact we we only started living together as husband and wife in December of 2017 puts us in good standing with the law?

My Timeline (married to USC)
- January 28th, sent packet to USCIS
- January 29th, USCIS received the documents / PD
- February 6th, NOAs on the receipt
- February 16th, Biometric schedule received
- February 28th, Biometrics done
- March 26th, i485 not accessible already. Never raised an SR as I read on this forum that some glitch OR after they talked to an L2 officer, they are advised that its already in line for interview. Other cases can still be accessed with the same status - ?case received?
- April 7th, Letter received for initial interview for May 7th. Notice date is April 2nd.

Total of 2 months and 9 days. To God be the Glory! FO is Chicago.

We have the exact same dates but no update on my side. It still says case received. Hoping for some movement, congratulations on your fast filing. 😊 God bless.

I'm not sure. Did she file as "married separately" or "single". If she filed as "single" it's against the law and can be penalized if immigration raises the issue with IRS. The fact that u guys just started living together at the end of the tax year is uncertain. I would have personally sought advice from one of those tax help offices or IRS customer care before filing 2017. I honestly can't say if she committed an offence or if it will have any negative impact on your interview.
