Are Derivative beneficiary's documents needed for only Principle I485 application?

Hi,

My I140 is approved. I am applying for AOS. I am married but I would like to apply only for myself and later apply for my wife. Could you please help me if my wife's documents such as birth certificate I20s, I94... are needed for my application?
