6 months for an EAD

I am on my 93rd day. I've been told that I need to expect to wait at least 6 months for my EAD card.

Is anyone else in the same situation?

I don't think my case is in anyway out of the ordinary.

What can I do to speed this up? I need to start working.

Has anyone had any success booking an appointment with them? I am at my wits end.
