Hello everyone,
i am new to posting stuff on this forum but frequently check other people threads which are very very helpful. i really hope you all would help me clear out this below mentioned confusion i am having.
i wanted to understand if or not an interview process is a mandatory requirement for AOS ( i-485) filed under Eb-2 (NIW ) catagory. if "Yes" when should i be expecting notification . listed below is my timeline. any advice and help would be super highly appreciated.
filed i-140 on august 2 2016 (Eb-2 NIW)
i-140 approval notice = 8/9/2017
submitted i-485, i-131 and i-765 around 10/15/2017 , receipt notice - 10/30/2017
PD on i-485 says = august 2 2016. ( i don't understand why ??)
bio metrics appointment notice mail recieved - 11/24/2017
bio metrics taken - 12/12/2017
haven't got anything after this. Assuming things work out good, should i be expecting EAD card next or an AOS interview notice next? and sample timeline would be highly appreciated.
also why does the priority date on my i-485 is august 2 2016 ( i140 filing date) when i filed the application on 10/15/2017?
