Hello Guys....

This is an appeal to all the Gurus of these forums.. pl explain if the immigration reform that is just passed and the one that Bush is going to Address today would change any Dynamics regarding the Green Card processing?

I personally just got my Labour certifcation cleared through the PERM processing and am in the process of applying for I-140.. but as the priority dates for I-485 are of Oct2001 it seems it will take for ever for me to get to that stage.. would this reform give people like me any respite?

As long as you did not overstay in US, it will not affect your petition. Don't worry.

But will this do anything to expedite the process? Will I485 also be done fast as Labour in PERM? Any chances of that?
