I'm sorry if this question has been answered many times before, if so please direct me.
Brother and I are both US citizens through naturalization. Now our dad (non US citizen) is visiting us for the 2nd time through B1/b2 tourist visa. He decided to live/immigrate in US with us. He is in his 50s. His 6 month duration of stay will expire on April 2018. The question is Can he apply for I-130 and I-485 adjustment of status and overstay his 6 month duration while waiting for response or interview date?
