  • REF on I-485 , passport and i-864

We received a request for initial evidence (i-485).

The letter said that the i-864 form that we used was out of date and we should submit the form again, including all of the tax information and supporting affidavids that go along with the form.

After sending it back to USCIS, we notices that on the i-864 form, it asked us to add "proof of citizenship of the sponser" which we did not send because it wasn't listed on the REF letter. Do you think this will cause more delays? Do they still have the proof of citizenship that we sent when originally submitted the application?

    Thanks alot

Hi, I remember reading that part but don't be alarmed because if you carefully read further you will see that it says that if you submitted proof of citizenship on your i-485 or i-130 you don't have to send it since it's already there.
