new card is being produced

hello everybody!

i got a question and wonder if anyone can help with that.

we went to the interview based on marriage (i485) and we were not approved on the spot and were giving a paper that states that case is on hold and need to be reviewed. it was on 18th of january.
but the next day in the morning the status online changed to CARD IS BEING PRODUCED (19th of january)
so im guessing we got approved, my questions are:
Do you get the approval letter first then the green card or how does it work? and how long does it actually take to receive the green card or approval after the interview based on your experience? my mailbox is my best friend, so far its been a week and its all quiet. i keep wondering if case is approved or the website has a glitch or something and being all paranoid.

Congratulations

It means you getting your green card soon. From new card been produced it will change to card mail to you in 24 hours and depending on where you live it might take 7 business days to receive you card.

Don't worry

Don't worry about status change, sometimes the status don't change regularly. You will receive your card tomorrow or early next week.

Your Card Was Ordered Messages / Email - 6/8/17 (Day after interview)
I-485 Approval Notification Messages / Email - 6/9/17
I-130 Mailed Approval Notice Received In Hand - 6/12/17 (The status never updated online since day 1)
I-485 Card was mailed messages / Email - 6/13/17
I-485 Mailed Approval Notice / Welcome letter received in Hand - 6/15/17
Green Card Delivered (10 year) - 6/16/17

So I received my card in hand 8 days after I received the card was ordered message and 3 days after the card was mailed message.

Thank you, it’s just changed to card was mailed to me! My hisband and me don’t believe that I will be receiving the green card after 15 months!
