    I live in Philly
    Thanks

Please provide more information. Almost every government agency has a designated "ombudsman." What is your immigration or paperwork issue that you believe you need help of an ombudman?

If the petitioner is not a U.S. citizen, waiting period for petition approval can easily exceed one year, and then another wait for quota slot to be available.

If the petitioner is a U.S. citizen, use the INFOPASS ( go to: https://my.uscis.gov/appointment ) appointment to see a live USCIS officer who can verify or track your petition status.

Use of USCIS "ombudsman for an I-130 delay of this time frame (one year) is probably a waste of time (my opinion, based on personal experience)

An I-130 is currently taking more than 6 months, easily up to a year. You're reading time frames from the past. Everything has changed this year.

My reference to "waste of time" was because Ombudsman assistance from USCIS is for issues that cannot be resolved by normal contact with USCIS staff, and Ombudsman responses are neither quick nor a panacea for delays in paper processing.

Using ombudsman service in my situation absolutely will be helpful just because the administration changed doesn’t mean they immigration system change applicants still receiving their benefits on time frame
