  • Any Detroit Concurrent Filers??

Looking to hear from some others that applied in Detroit/Midwest area. I have posted this before in the august forum but really looking to hear from someone who is going through the same thing...really starting to feel impatient, frustrated and alone in this.

I don't have all my dates super accurate but here's an estimate:

    PD: 8/10
    Receipts: 8/18
    Biometrics: end of august
    RFE for 1-485: 9/01
    Reply to RFE received: 9/18
Heard NOTHING until 1/10: Date of birth has been updated on all forms (a request we put in on 8/20 when we first saw the DOB of my spouse was incorrect)
1/20/18: Privacy form and request sent to congressman
1/26/18: Opened a 2nd SR (first one opened by attorney, never heart outcome)

It has been over 164+ days since filing, we have put in an SR, and still essentially no action. I am hoping the fact they finally updated the DOB means they are working on it...but wanted to see if anyone else can relate.
I called Customer Service yesterday and they reported that our application is still at NBC.

My husband is from Australia (came in on visitor visa) and we got married in July and filed concurrent 1-485, 1-765 and I-130.

Any insight or advice would be appreciated!! Thanks

I am assuming you are sending a SR for your EAD? If so you are not alone. PD is 8/30 and heard nothing, have put 2 SR' in and both say case is under review and in normal processing time, the latest SR response received on 1/6/18.
I-485's are taking around 1 year for interview depending on what category you are in it might be quicker.
