Is it possible to extend H1B beyond 6 years while AOS 485 is filled and EAD is pendin

Hi,

Currently we got 140 approved through my wife petition in EB- 1B category and AOS 485 filed along with EAD request by Jan 2018. Meanwhile i am in H1B status which will expire by Oct 2018.

If i dont get the EAD approved within Oct 2018, i will lose my work authorization.

Is there a way, i can get my H1B extended beyond 6 years term as my 485 is filled (note: 140 got approved only for my wife petition).

I have a job offer, with different company, which is looking for certainty in my work authorization status. Do suggest me.

I think you should not leave the US while you are AOS, therefore, you cant extend your visa.

You can request they expedite the EAD based on your job offer.
