I'm about to file for Adjustment of status thru Marriage, lost my I-94 (entered the country on a tourist visa 1994 ) only proof i have is passport with faded stamp (Miami fla airport). Now my question is : Should i file for I- 102 NOW that i am out of status before i start my paperwork , or should i file for I-485 and I-102 Together . Being illegally now and filing for I-102 scares me because it will be putting me in the eyes of immigration OR it's normal to request that document before i start my adjustment , thanks for any answer in advance .
