Marriage based
Hello.Atlanta filer here.I came here on a B2 visa.I got married to a USC and filed adjustment of status while my stay was still valid. My PD is April 27,2018.Biometrics was done last May 31, 2018.Received Courtesy letter re I-693 first week of June.Status hasn?t changed since May 4th.Just hoping that i will get my EAD card by next month so i can start working.
By the way, if anybody who hasn?t received EAD card yet and planning to travel within the US, make sure u bring your NOAs fr USCIS and marriage certificate as the ICE are all over the place especially at the airports..

My journey has ended. No RFE's and no lawyer! Help from users on this forum and research online. Here's my timeline. I adjusted from B2 status and was 8 months out of status when I sent in the package.

My experience was very positive from the time I entered the field office to when I left. Everyone was nice.
After u pass through security check you will go in a line where people are waiting in a big room. The room has restrooms and vending machines for snacks. When it's your turn the person's at the counter will give u guys a number to the room u have to go(upstairs). Upstairs you see a big auditorium with a TV and many chairs but u will have to go to the receptionist person once again and that's where u get a ticket with a letter and numbers. It will display on the screens when the officer is looking at your file and getting ready to come out and escort u guys to his/her office.
I've noticed that the person's closer to the receptionist have to wait weeks for their card whilst the persons interviewed by their IO all the way to the front where the TV is had gotten their card within 6-7 days after interview. The IO offices are quite a few and it's in 2 sections the office area closer to the receptionist and another office area closer to the TV.( I know this because when persons describe the officer I remembered seeing them coming out of different areas that day)
Please come back and share which section u were interviewed and how long after u got your card!Filed I-130, I130A, I-485, I-765

My PD November 2017. Got my EAD in February. The DHS website says my case is being scheduled for interview but that was the last update from December 2017. I?ve been waiting for an interview since then.
I?m not sure where my interview will be. My biometrics were done in Charleston, SC and my lawyer said that it?s a strong possibility I?ll have it there too. But I called the USCIS a few weeks ago and they told me my case was at the Atlanta office and that is on queue but that was from a L1 officer.
I hate this long wait. My lawyer said my case was really easy and it shouldn?t had taken this long. But whatever.
