  • First Time Leaving the Country

So I got my green card in late November. 2018 did not start well: my husband's grandmother passed away and I am in the process of getting laid off. BUT I have found a better job. My husband decided that it would be a good idea to go on vacation before I start my new job.

As always, I worry. Will I need my Polish passport and Green Card and that's it?
    Forms sent 6/2
    Forms received 6/4
    Received texts/e-mails 6/6
    PD 6/5 & 6/6

Biometrics letter in mail 6/17 w/ 6/28 date
    SR 9/2
    Contacted Congressman 10/1
    Called the Congressman's office 10/10
    Interview letter 10/10
    Approval Letters for I-765 and I-131 10/16
    Received EAD/AP card 10/17

Does your name in passport match your green card's name? (for example, do you still have your maiden name in your passport or you changed it already? )

My GC still has my maiden name so does my passport. I was planning to change it at the interview but since the officer said that she can't approve us because I did not have the extended birth certificate, then I did not. So the passport and my GC match.
