Hi Friends,
My wife and I are working in the US with L1b (me) and L2-EAD (wife) visas. My L1 visa is valid till Feb 2019, and will need an extended post Feb-19.
My wife's employer is processing her H1b. I have following questions
1) If my wife gets H1b approved, do I necessarily have to go on H4 status or I can continue working on L1 until my visa is valid, and later apply for visa extension and complete my L1 visa period.
2) We see two options (a) Consular Processing (b) Change of Status. We plan to maximize our L1b/L2-EAD and later switch to H1b. Would Consular Processing be the correct choice here? Any suggestions?
