  • Traveling with advanced parole - Combo Card

    Hello !

I am new to this forum but it seems very helpful I wanted to ask if any of you have traveled with advanced parole (Combo card) I am doing adjustment of status and still pending for an interview .

Yes, I think I traveled 4 or 5 times using Advance Parole.

Just be prepared that you always have to go to a secondary ?screening? after the immigration at the airport. They will take your passport and your EAD card and check everything before they hand you back your stamped passport and card.

On average it took me about 30 extra minutes each time.

There?s no reason to be nervous, just be honest.

We just came back from hubby?s home country. No problems on reentry. He didn?t like that he got pulled into the room, but it seems like that?s normal procedure for the AP. He wasn?t getting interviewed with his P1 visa.
