I wanted to share my experience with change of address which delayed the whole process by little over 3 months..
we moved out of state 2 mo the after filing my AOS..By that time I had already given my biometrics and status showed case was ready to be scheduled for interview.. Even after updating website and sending mail address change promptly, my file still went to old office. After multiple follow ups , file was finally transferred from old to new office and they also had to reschedule my interview. That said, I finally took my interview and VO manually updated all forms during interview..all went well in the end

I moved within state and it still changed my uscis office.
      Filed for change of address
Got interview notice for original location 2 days or so after that
Interview got cancelled right away because of change of address
Got new interview notice for new location within 2 weeks or so of that
I guess i got lucky as you maybe get a bit more prio if something was already scheduled.

thank you???? my husband is very keen to move to L.A. but if i am to return first to settle our paperwork and accommodations i prefer not to get started in L.A. on my own so the plan is to stay with my grandmother for a bit while everything is processing but when it's ok for him to move over i dont want him stuck in a small southern town where he knows no one ???? so I figured move on over to L.A. at that point.
