  • Attorney only filed I-485 and I-765, no advanced parole

Hi everyone, my friend married to US citizen and they hired an attorney to file i-485, i-765, i-131 but the attorney did not help her file i-131, so on her EAD card, it said it is not served as re-entry permit.

Can she file the i-131 seperately? What should she do to get an Advanced Parole?

If she can file i-131, will she receive a new EAD/AP combo card or a separate card?

    Thank you all.

She can file USCIS Form I-131 on her own. I suspect she will receive a separate approval letter with no "card", although I don't think it matters what form in which approval of advance parole is documented, as long as it is approved & documented

A standalone AP comes on two pieces of paper, not a card.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.
