  • Hi guys ! So here's my timeline:

    PD : 2/12/2018
    Biometrics: 3/13/2018
    Filing from Buffalo, NY.

My case status has been " We have received your case yada yada" since 2/12/2018.
However, for my I-485, it was updated to "Fingerprint Fee was received" on 2/21/2018

Since then I haven't gotten any updates. I've signed up for both the websites tracker thing (egov.dhs & myaccountuscis) and there are still no changes to my case status.
I'm aware that it's been 73 days so far since my PD and I was wondering that once it hits the 75 day mark, should i raise an SR request online?

It's killing me to know that some people have already gotten updates or interview dates, and i still haven't gotten anything yet. Nothing in the mail and nothing online.
The wait is really draining me out you guys. Ugh. I wish i can work already, running out of things to do haha :/

    • Received Interview notice

I responded to RFE on 4/13 and USCIS updated me that they started working on my application on 4/17.

      I received this update today:

On April 26, 2018, we scheduled an interview for your Form I485 for May 31st, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR ADJUST STATUS. We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice.

      02/15/18: I 131, I 130A, I 485, I 765, updated I-864 filed
02/16/18: Docs received at Chicago Lockbox
      03/02/18: Checks Cashed
      03/08/18: Called USCIS with A-Number and received Receipts number for I 131, I 485, I 764. I 131 was rejected because there was no fees attached for I 131.
      03/12/18: I 797/NOA received in emails
03/15/17: Biometrics appointment letter received for 03/28/18
03/17/18: Online status for I 485 changed to RFE
03/25/18: I 131 application sent stating that there's no fees for I 131 as per USCIS guidelines. This time they accepted it.
03/26/18: I 131 application recived at Chicago lockbox
03/26/18: RFE received for I 485 (Reason provide dwas that the application was signed more than a year before I 485 was filed. It was funny how they couldn't understand it the signature date as the pen stoppes working while writing "8" in 2018 and USCIS took it as "2010" as the upper part of "8" wasn't visible completely).
      03/28/18: Biometrics appointment done
      04/02/18: I 797/ NOA received for I 131

My PD is 01/22. The online status shows for I 131. I 765 and I 130 is "We received your case. Read the notice we mailed you for more information about how we will process your case". I 485 status shows "We need more information from you. We sent you a Request for Evidence (RFE)". I will be resubmitting my I 485 again by end of this week.

Hi Lynn77, you can wait for 90 days mark, if nothing happen then file SR. I guess that way will be a good logic.

              Hi,

I filed my I-130, I-765 and I-485 Concurrently on 12/19/17, and I just received notification of status for I-765 changed to "Card has been produced" on 5/1/18 (yesterday)
But the status I-485 has not changed.. What is your processing center? I think mine is National Benefit Center, which most likely transferred to my local office, New york City. NY.

There were a couple of filers from Buffalo, NY who got their interview very fast. The guy was approved on the spot and hadn't even received a EAD. Just do a search, you'll find the post.

Hartford, CT is likely your field office. To be sure, you can check here. https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-.../field-offices Just enter your zip code, and it will tell you which your field office is. MSC stands for Missouri Service Center. That is the National Benefits Center. Your file will stay there until your interview is scheduled. Then, it will be sent to your field office.

                    • Expedited my EAD

                      Hey all,

                      2/14/18 case received
                      3/16/18 biometrics

In early April I submitted a request to expedite my EAD card under the category of Extreme Emergent Situation because I had nearly depleted my savings.. I received a letter in late April asking me to fax evidence of my situation. I provided them with bank balances and a job offer letter.

5/4/18 (may the 4th be with you) I received a text message saying my case has been updated. I logged on and sure enough it said my card is being issued.

I?ve heard nothing about an interview, my travel document, nor have I had an RFE. Happy to be able to work soon though.

Awesome! To be clear, you did not reach out to your congress person then.

By nothing, do you mean a "validation error" like the one below?
