People who have received their interviews don't have EADs. I would have preferred the interview to get everything over but I am thankful for what I do have. It's a lot of people waiting way longer.

Concurrent filing I-485,130,765 marriage base USC
Field office: Cleveland
Docs sent to Chicago Lockbox
PD: 02/07
receipt dates: 02/14
checks cashed: 02/16
bio metrics done: 03/05
received courtesy letter for I-693: 03/16
04/21 " Us Postal service could not deliver a notice we sent"
04/23 I talked to a level 2 officer to see if they could tell me what had been sent on the mail. He said it is an interview appointment for May 11th.
5/01 Official letter for appointment received
5/11 Interview done, recommended for approval on spot
5/11 later that day status changed to " We are producing your card and will mail it to you"
5/14 " we approved your case" on both I-130 and I-485
5/17- received I-797 Approval notice for I-130 and 485
5/18- " we have mailed your card. USPS will deliver it to you"
5/18- informed delivery on USPS shows tracking number for the card, expected delivery date on 5/21
We never received EAD and didn't apply for AP. Case status still shows " we received your case"
note: i came on B1/B2 visa and was not out of status when we applied, actually if it gets here on time, my GC will be delivered a few days before me going out of status

Why do you think the USPS return the notice and not deliver it to address what?s the cause for that?

[QUOTE=Jay D Destin;567386]This was super fast neither did I apply for AP just applied for EAD I didn?t call to bother anyone to expedite it. B1/B2 visa for me too and i haven?t heard anything about EAD only that they schedule an interview for I-485 but question

USCIS started mailing secure documents with a signature requirement upon delivery. There was an update about that on April 27th. It started sometimes before that. It?s a good thing. At one point too many people were not getting their notices. At least this way, you?ll know something is up through one of your accounts IF those update, of course.

I get it now we?ll hopefully we?re home when it?s on the way we have informed delivery so I?m praying it shows up with the image so I?ll make myself comfy waiting on it sipping on some coffee. Lol thanks for your info.
I think you can sign something at the post office requesting that they hold any certified mail from USCIS that has a signature requirement.
I have noticed on two occasions that these interview notices were not scanned by USPS informed delivery for two people in the forum. It might be worth considering whether you (or any of us) should get a Private Mailbox at the UPS store. There is always someone there to sign for your mail.

Wow

I know for sure that with certified mail, they mail carrier/person is supposed to leave a slip in your mailbox. It gives you the option to allow the mail person to leave the mail piece in your mailbox. I do not know if that applies to government mail.

You're welcome! In general, I think it's good practice to have a private mailbox at the UPS store. For example, if you're a licensed health care professional, the licensing board makes your mailing address public information. Anyone can request it. True story. My licensing board has my PMB.
