Can anyone tell me how long it takes after you fax over the requested proof(job offer) to USCIS to expedite EAD...how long does it take to hear back from them? I received their response in the mail and faxed them proof on monday but no update yet on uscis case status account. So am just wondering how long it takes

February 1nd, 2018. The packet was delivered. PD date.
March 8, 2018. Fingerprinting appointment .

No news since then, not able to apply for outside priority days, says still in normal time.
Anyone in same boat? ( I-765, I -130, I -485)

Taska - I am pretty much in the same boat as you are. Have not heard anything since March 6 (except an RFE for some translation that was done close to 2 months ago now). But there is nothing to do, they do have up (I believe! and correct me if I am wrong) 5 months to provide the applicant with the EAD card?

If I remember correctly, we sent over requested proof on the 26th and card was produced on the 8th or 9th of the following month. We had card in hand on the 11th. Ours was expedite due to job loss if we didn't get the new EAD (husband was on OPT that was set to expire) rather than job offer, so I don't know if that would have an effect.

I am on the same boat, my OPT Will expire on July 11th and I still don?t have m EAD ( PD 02/26/2018).
What information did you have to give them for job loss? I also will stop working if I don?t have a valid EAD. I have an info pass appointment tomorrow and plan to ask for an expedited EAD.

Today I am at 117 days and I raised a SR on MAY 22, Today I got this response on the "USCIS CASE STATUS WEBSITE" On June 11, 2018, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number SR0000000MSC, was completed.

Does anyone knows what happen after this?

I am on the same boat, my OPT Will expire on July 11th and I still don?t have m EAD ( PD 02/26/2018).
What information did you have to give them for job loss? I also will stop working if I don?t have a valid EAD. I have an info pass appointment tomorrow and plan to ask for an expedited EAD.

I wrote a cover letter that outlined the evidence and also stated that we depend on his income, and that we need his income to support our family (basically that he supports not only himself, but our family and that his inability to work would result in severe financial loss to him and our family. We submitted the following:

1. USCIS notice requesting additional documentation in support of request to expedite
2. Initial email sent by his company that notified him of his upcoming termination (one of those general HR emails)
3. A signed letter from his company on company letterhead confirming that he would be terminated w/o EAD
4. Letter from his boss describing his contributions to his employer and the importance of his continued ability to work

I ended it by respectfully requesting them to grant our request to expedite, offered to answer any additional questions, and we both signed it. I used the word "family" a lot. I also included the Referral ID for their convenience.

I think if you can show financial loss & the termination, you'll have a good shot.

I?m on the same boat but I?m on day 110. Check your processing times as they have changed. EAD can take 4-6 months to be approved as for now. 😔

I tried to shake tree and submit Outside Normal Processing Time but was not able to do it foe EAD, it was said that I am in the normal processing time...it is 131 day already.

Infopass not worth it

Just went to the info pass appointment and it was a complete waste of time. The lady wouldn?t say anything or even try to look up my case.
I wasted time for nothing.

Done with Interview

I had my interview on 05/31. We were asked about our identification documents and passports, how we met, when we started dating, who proposed and when and if we met each others family, how did we get married, timeline of our relationship, where do we work? The interviewer said I am very organized and he has never received this much organized documents and folder. He was looking for my I 130 application which wasn't in the package that he had because I filed I 130 separately and prior to filing my I 485. He said he is requesting the I 130 application to be sent to him from the office who has that file. It can take upto two weeks for the file to be sent to him. He took 5 pics from my album and said everything is in order and he is going to approve my application when he receives my I 130 application from Mid West office. Then he started explaining about two years conditional greed card and I 751.

Now I am awaiting for the status to change online (it's been 12 days, the interviewer said it can take upto 14 days for I 130 application) and for my Green Card.
