Tracking on USCIS website does not work for my numbers

Hi everyone,

My I-130 has already been approved and I applied for I-485+EAD a month ago.

I received the I-797C notices in the mail saying my case has been receieved (at the Nebraska center). However, when I go to track my cases on the USCIS website it just gives me an error saying the receipt number does not exist. I am entering it correctly.

Is this common?

It happened to some people before. Call the number on your receipt notice, then press 1 or 2 (English or Spanish when prompted), then select 2 for every other option. It will get you through to a person directly and you can check with them what's going on

when did you get this letter? it sometimes takes a while. I think i wasnt able to check my cases online until a few days after i got the regular mail.

It has been over a month now. I guess I should call!

Just called and they said it takes up to 45 days to update the case status website, and that I should wait..

Wow! What is your service center? How long until you got the biometrics letter after you got the initial i-797c receipts?

Got my biometrics appointment letter. Scheduled for in a week and took about a month from filing date to get the letter. Web tracking still does not work.
