Student doing AOS with Handgun license

Hi,

On form I458 section on eligibilty and ineligibility question 49 " Have you EVER had any military, para military or weapons training? Would having a license to carry constitute as weapons training? Just wondering if I should tick yes or no.

No.

A CCW is not formal weapons training but rather a safety course.

How many times are you going to ask the same question worded differently? is it that you are not getting the answer you want to hear? Most people on here probably dont own guns or possess CCL and as such are not qualified to answer. If in doubt go with yes. weapons training in itself doesn't bar you from AOS.
