I485 case was transferred after approval and green card received
I received my green card in October 2017. However today (3/4/2018) I received a letter from USCIS that my case has been transferred to NBC. What does this mean? My wife also applied under my application, does this mean that her case is transferred?

At the same time there is a separate notice that my wife's 485 case (a derivative application) was also transferred (her 485 was submitted later and separately from my own and is still being processed, like biometrics, etc.) So, I wonder if this is because the processing of my wife's case (transfer, additional review) would require the transfer of the principal application (i.e., my own 485)... -
Ecoair - Did you find out the reason why it was transferred? My case is exactly the same as yours, so I am guessing it is just for processing my wife's application. I will let you know if I hear back from them.Comment

Yes, please let me know how your case or your wife's case is moving forward. My only guess is that the wife's case probably will need an interview, so case was transferred, etc. etc. and at the same time, the principal applicant's case needs to follow along?Originally posted by mgous100 View PostComment
