  • January 2018 Filers where you at?

    1. PD January 4th CONCURRENT
    2. Biometrics January 31st
    3. Waiting now for EAD

I am from Raleigh, NC. When I applied for EAD through DACA I got my EAD in less than 3 months. Crossing my fingers 🙏🏻 for a speedy case for me. I heard my uscis office process cases faster than other states. I am just bored and I have to post something here because the waiting sucks. I wish everyone a speedy case as well. God Bless you all.

Is there any January filer who has got an EAD?

Someone else with a PD of 12/02 who filed in NC just had the interview on the 8th or some time last week. He/she had not gotten the EAD at that point yet. Seems like NC is the place to be.

I heard a similar story from someone who filed in Ohio, where I live. They filed in December and got their interview for March 20th while no EAD has arrived yet. IF you think about it, we pay for both services but if they don't have to print an EAD they same some money and time.

Hey there! I am also a Raleigh, NC filer! I had my fingerprints done on 2/26 but received an RFIE on 3/1. However, my account online (as of March 8) says that my application is no longer on hold so now... I am just waiting for my EAD card (I adjusted my status due to marriage).

I've filed through an attorney and still got an RFE.... btw, can we travel with our EAD cards?! I thought we had to apply for I-131(?) for any international travel.

I applied for advance parole (I-131) as well so I will be getting an COMBO EAD. It was free!

              Did you applied for I-131?

You can't use your EAD card to travel unless it's a combo card(EAD/AP). Yep, so unless you applied for Advanced Parole through the I-131 you cannot travel on an EAD, after all, it's just a work permit, not a travel permit lol.

                  Interview before EAD/AP?

                  Hi everyone,

Just got my interview invitation today scheduled for April 24th in San Francisco. My PD is 1/10/2018. Haven't heard anything back about the EAD/AP card... Anyone in a similar situation?

                  Thanks in advance!

When did you send your I-485? Did you get your interview notice from NBC? Did you apply under EB1 category. It's surprising that your interview was scheduled so quick even your PD is 1/10/2018

I live close to SF. My PD is 05/10/2016. Below are my timeline:
                    3/22/2018 - I-485, I-131, I-765 received by USCIS
                    4/03/2018 - Accepted fingerprint fee
                    4/22/2018 - Biometric scheduled
5/16/2018- Application transferred to National Benefits Center, Lee Summit, MO. Status: Officer will review it
                    5/22/2018 - Biometric completed
5/30/2018 - Got courtesy notice that I-693 is not submitted, please being it at the time of interview

I didn't hear anything about EAD, neither my interview is scheduled as of now. I will keep you posted once I hear anything from USCIS
