              • no update on case status for 3 months

                Hello, I'm new here!

I won the DV lottery (while living in the US) and have gone through the AOS process, completing the final step with my interview on April 12th. The interview was great, the IO was happy and verbally approved me, I annoyingly didn't receive a stamp or letter on the spot though but she said I should receive my card in the mail soon.

It's been almost a month and I've received nothing. My case status is STILL stuck on "Fingerprint was received Feb 3rd" it didn't even change to show I had my interview. No letters have come in the mail.
Has anyone else not had status updates during this process? I've called USCIS and of course they have useless responses. My friends have gone through the same process with interviews at the same FO after mine and already have green cards in hand.

My case was solid, so what could be the delay!? Is an info pass the only option at this point?

Feel really sad for you, it must be hard to go till the interview and still be waiting. I do not have much knowledge in this regard, but I hope someone will be able to give some advice, why don't you create a new thread ? lot of people visiting in this thread are new filers.

No need to worry as I have my biometrics on April 10th and since then there were no updates till today! Today at 8:10 am I received a message saying your employment based interview is scheduled (if you receive this message don?t worry since this is a system glitch and it will be an AOS based interview) Within that period my case seemed like it didn?t progress at all but today it jumped from fingerprint fee received to interview is scheduled. Just be patient and keep your hopes high. Wishing you all the best.

                        • Today I received a txt, egov site and a case tracker app update saying that my employment-based interview was scheduled. Now it is time to wait for the mail and see when it will take place. My question is, if i am not mistaken, in the past I-131 and I-765 were taking 2.5 to 5 months according to the processing times of NBC (or others) and then you were waiting for your field office to call you for your I-485 which was taking months to get the interview. If everything goes well, you would receive your green card within a few weeks after your interview.
Nowadays we see interviews showing up before I-765 and I-131s approved so does anyone know what is going to happen next if the interview goes well? Will we receive the green card before EAD and AP is processed or they will not be processed at all and we will receive the green card directly sooner? What do you think?

Today at 8:10 am I received a message saying your employment based interview is scheduled (if you receive this message don?t worry since this is a system glitch and it will be an AOS based interview) Within that period my case seemed like it didn?t progress at all but today it jumped from fingerprint fee received to interview is scheduled. Just be patient and keep your hopes high. Wishing you all the best.

Do you mind if I ask you if you (or you partner) enter in US few weeks before getting married and applied straight after for a green card? I saw the statistically speaking, whoever allows the partner to enter with a finance visa and gets married quickly receives also the interview quicker than anybody else.
