I would call to place the request to expedite on the basis of job loss, financial hardship. Get that confirmation number, and go straight to the senator. Don?t wait for USCIS? response with the fax numbers where you can send the evidence. We?ve posted those numbers here several times.
I would just go straight to the senator. Not many people are expediting these days and Senators have to get re-elected in November. Ride that wave.

We were worried about these since we are at the Boston FO, but our lawyers insisted that it is really not an issue for the majority of cases (unless there is a criminal record or deportation warrants). Still nerve-racking though...
I happened to stumble across this link yesterday; this must be their official rules to make the arrests at interviews:
Also, out of curiosity, did anyone who hasn't got their EAD yet include their tax transcripts for 2017 when submitting?

You have your interview coming. Sure, ROC is a pain, but you will be eligible for citizenship a year earlier than the rest of us. At the end of the day, you do not have status, until you adjust status. EAD/AP are all good but that does not grant status. Most people fail to realize that. My parents for instance, I told them today my husband just got his EAD/AP and they said "Perfect! All his problems are solved!" Well, no, not really. He can work and apply for entry to the US if he travels abroad - that's it.
Congrats on your interview. As I tell everyone, prepare for a zombie apocalypse and the interview will seem like cake. Follow Emerald 2020's table of contents and present what applies to you.
All the best,
