March 2018 filers: let's share our experience!!

This is so weird. I called the customer service, and he said that my interview is scheduled but they haven't sent out the notice yet. He said there isn't any cancellation on his system. On the new dhs website it still says that it's scheduled but on the old site it says it has been cancelled. I also received an email that they have cancelled it. OMG! I do not want to get my hopes up anymore. It's like uscis is playing with my emotions.

As she's a beneficiary also, she will have to come to the interview. what they are going to ask her I don't know...

They generally don't involve children by asking them hard core questions. They Officer will observe, though, to make sure that your child's behavior reflects that y'all are a family.

Every 3 Mondays i receive this @ the exact same hour (7am). I think is specifically for my I485. Its interesting bc it has always been "finger fee accepted" for my i485 on both web sites (never updated since april 9). I just wanted to share it & ask if it happened to you guys too. At least i'll know if they ever advance with my case. Jaja. Have a great week everyone

Hi guys, we just went for the interview on Friday (10/12) and it went pretty well I believe, just some confusing sometimes but no silent awkward moment and the interviewer seems relaxing and smiling with us. However, we didn't have the approval on spot, the only thing that she told us at the end is we will have the decision within 90 days and she asked if we had any questions but we said no ><. We should have asked the reason why we didn't get the decision now but I was kinda afraid of the answer or didn't know if it was appropriate. Anyways, at least we finished our interview. Now it's time for the terrifying waiting, I kept going back and forth to check on my case status but nothing changed (they didn't even update my interview date, it's still showing ready for interview @@). I really hope that everything will be okay. Finger cross to everyone here

2nd AOS Application.

I had my first AOS Interview and my wife withdrew the application. I wasn't happy and filed for a divorce. We got divorced. Now I am married to another USC and I recently sent in my documents for AOS. What are my chances, any hope for me?

i got one too, and the date was correct, they put the day they updated my status to interview scheduled.

I get these messages too. Is it possible that they might be scheduling my interview soon?
I hope it?s a good mistake from uscis since my FO, San Francisco
is super slow now.

Update

Hi All,

I have update, knocking on wood, feeling good about it.

So our Infopass at Montgomery on Oct 15th was successful, we got RFIE for tax for 2017, we sent reply in couple of days and USCIS acknowledged it on Oct 23rd. On the same day also passed a month on my SR for EAD outside of normal processing time which still wasn't assigned for processing. I waited a week to be sure that they received my RFIE for 485 and on Oct 30th I called them to inquire about EAD. Nice lady filed a second service request for EAD and told me that I should receive reply in 15 days.

On Nov 1st they must have looked at the reply to RFIE as my status was updated to "Case ready to be scheduled for interview"! So happy it finally moved that I don't even care that with the huge backlog Montgomery has according to Immigration Officer, that our interview will probably be in a year.

With this update and 2nd SR for EAD I have faith that I will finally see my EAD this year...

223 days since filing and counting.
