For all we know, interview scheduled means an Immigration services officer chose your file from the “pick list” to be scheduled.

If it gets cancelled, that’s life. Ours was and we are still alive. You have your combo card. So take a deep breath and enjoy the weekend.
I was prepared to wait a year to get our interview and I was okay with it. This got me by surprise, so I hope it's real. But yeah, you are right, I should just relax and see how it turns out, although it's hard.

As I've been on forums for months I got familiar with some nicknames and their timelines, so I'm curious what happened after your interview was cancelled? There were no other news since august and you're just waiting?

As always thanks for your answer

It's too long to explain. And I have explained on the forum on a thread of its own. Basically, it had to do with our change of address BACK to Minnesota. USCIS caught the discrepance in jurisdiction and cancelled the interview. We never got a notice, but only the status update. I did recently inquire - mostly out of a desire to understand the innerworkings of USCIS. But that is it. It's been less than a year since we file. In all honesty, we would prefer to not deal with removing conditions, and then dealing with the foolish letter of extension for 18 months that you get.

So bottom line is, when the interview comes, we will be ready. The AOS package weighed 13lbs. We sent evidence from all kinds and angles.
To get the interview now, would be a surprise. It's too early for Minnesota BUT it has happened.

So you should seek other folks under the Seattle Field Office jurisdiction. Asking March 2018 filers may lead to confusion. There are folks who filed in March 2018 who got their green card in June 2018. They were in fast jurisdictions AND had the *system glitch*. Your field office ALSO had the system glitch and they skipped from 2017 cases and started scheduling interviews for 2018 cases. NOW they are catching up with 2017 cases again.
We weren't one of the lucky couples who benefited from the glitch, or should I say we could've been, the Seattle thread is quiet and I thought asking in this thread would give some fresh insight, not that we mind waiting like everybody else, we are still organizing the documentation we plan to bring for the interview, thanks to your guidance posted in another thread, but printing stuff like the history of SMS exchanges have proven to be quite a task, and while we see you are very ready for the eventual scheduling of the interview, we cant say the same for ourselves. Reading consistent updates from those in the March 2018 group on this particular concern is giving us some comfort that we will be receiving that schedule in due time and happy for those who already have been scheduled.

If you are printing screenshots of SMS, that will just take too long. Look into iExplorer or iMazing. You can download the text messages and select which ones etc. It will save you a lot of time.

Using those two programs will definitely be faster than printing screenshots. HOWEVER, it will still take time. Plan accordingly. Also make sure that you are backing up your messages. Phones break, get wet/ stolen/ lost, etc.

It's not an app. It is an iphone manager. You use it through your computer.

                          • Hi guys, so just a quick update that our case just got approved, hoorayyy. We just literally got the text message that our case got new update and I was so nervous go online to check, like I was shaking and didnt even want to cuz I was scared of the decision lmao (silly ikr). But yes, turned out it said "case was approved" we're like beyond happy after almost 2 months of waiting since the interview date (10/12). I'm extremely grateful for being able to go through this faster in Houston field. Just want to share with y'all about this awesome news and I hope everyone in this journey will be as smooth as possible. Stay patient and things will be alright !!!!!
P.s: A big thank to UScitizenFilingforspouse for your great help and response !!!! We didn't get to the infopass appointment tho since it's too hard to get one available day .

Congratulations! There is no way to know why yours was waster. For a point of reference, this user from Houston, TX filed 03-27-17 and had her interview in 11-2018. https://www.immihelp.com/forum/showt...021#post583021

Take it and run. Make sure you continue gathering evidence. Removal of conditions is next. Please make sure you read through the instructions of the I-751. The evidence starts since the date of your marriage. Bookmark this page. This is what a winning I-751 looks like. https://www.immihelp.com/forum/showt...346#post582346

Yes it is still quite a task printing out over a year's worth of SMS messages on the iMazing program. Thank you for being such a huge help to many around the thread.
I see someone from Houston just got her GC approved after waiting for close to 2 years, congratulations! I hope the wait won't be that long in Seattle but never mind we can wait.
