Employment-based interview scheduled

Hello guys, i?ve Been reading these posts for a while and decided to post my experience. I?m just so confused. My case is marriage-based we filed beginning of March but I received and email yesterday saying my employment-based interview has been scheduled and they will mail me the notice with the date.
Here is my timeline:

PD: 03/05/18
Biometrics done: 04/05/18
Interview scheduled email: 04/16/18

It?s happening way too fast. I just want to know anyone has a similar story and had actually got the interview notice with the date. It?s only been 40 days since we filed.

Here is my timeline. Marriage based to USC

Pd: 03/05/18
Biometrics done: 04/05/18
Email saying employment-based interview has been scheduled: 04/16/18

I?m confused. Does anyone had anything similar and actually had the interview this early? I haven?t got the notice with date yet.

I received email and text messages stating "We have taken an action on your case"

Once I logged into the my.uscis.gov website, it said "We reviewed your biometrics and are still processing your case"

Glad this baby step is over.

Fingers crossed.

Ours says the same thing. No text or notification, though. Did a biometrics walk-in on the 12th. The account shows on the 13th - We reviewed your biometrics and are still processing your case". USPS informed delivery shows an envelope from USCIS postmarked 04/12/18. So who knows what's up...

Did you submit I-693 medicals with your application? If not, then usually you get a courtesy letter asking you to take it to the interview.

True. It might be the medical courtesy letter. We opted to wait and not use up that initial one year window to submit. My field office is Minneapolis, 14.5 months to 23.5 months. LOL we're hoping to be part of the infamous "glitch".

No one has heard any one from March 2018 get an interview. So amazing. Congrats!

It's kind of insane to be honest and I hope for you it is confirmed!!!! Although it sounds weird that you request a marriage based GC and they scheduled you for an employment-based interview. Anyway, did you go?

I just got the email yesterday. It doesn?t say when is the interview. To be honest I?m very confused but I contacted my lawyer today and he said not worry about it because it?s just a computer error. He told me to wait until they mail me the letter with a date

Lee?s Summit, MO but i?m From CT so I don?t know if they transferred it to Vermont yet. We applied I-130; I-131; I-765 andI-485

Priority Date: 3/19/2018
Checks Cashed: no idea
NoAs via Email/Texts Date: no idea
NoAs via Mail Date: 3/31/2018
Biometric letter received: 4/6/2018
Biometric appointment schedule for 4/19/2018
I had an important meeting on that day so I did a walk-in on 4/10/2018. No questions at all. Very friendly staff.

No updates so far in the system.
Lawyer told me to wait..


I have seen several cases of people applying in March and getting Biometrics appt between April 17 and 19.

Email about the interview was received on 4/16/2018. The interview was not scheduled for 4/16/2018.

I don't know if you called to ask about the interview etc. I would just let it be. You're probably part of the so called glitch and got lucky. Take it and run.

Now waiting for my biometrics schedule.
How long would this take?

ok... That must be silly but I just wanted to share!
Feeling like something is finally happen.
So. Dispite of the recommendation to wait for the NoAs in the mail, I entered the web site and found that "Fingerprint Fee Was Received"!
And that's it!

Ah, by the way, we submited for my child too. Did anyone else submit for their child?

I am waiting for biometrics appointment too. Seems like it takes 6-10 days to receive it.
