My husband's biometrics appt was 11am, we arrived at 10:30am, the lady inside asked for our appt letter, handed us a form to fill out basic information of the applicant, with a number that we will go by, also she made sure everyone's phone is on silence. Another lady collected the form and told husband to sit by the grey chair and I cannot go beyond that area, just need to wait for him by the red chair area, but I can see what is going on with him. He is called by the number and got his finger print on 10 fingers. We were in and out in 15 mins.

        Thank you for sharing!!!

interesting that the Notice date is 04/20...

Well, to those who already did the biometrics, can you share the experience?
It?s just the photo and the fingers prints?
              Thanks!
I think I described more in details the experience but I'll do it again. I arrived 10 minutes before at the Federal building in Cincinnati, OH. Had the security check like in an airport and walked to the office. A lady was behind the desk, she asked me for the letter and a document, I had my driving license but I think a passport work as well. She asked me to show her my hands and she gave me some antibacterial lotion. She made me fill a page of info like DOB, name, address ecc. That I wen behind the desk, she took a pic of myself and my fingerprints. That was it, it took me 15 minutes in total considering some little wait.

BTW I just learned that we can apply to drivers license with the I-485 notification! I have been waiting for my EAD's arrival to apply but I just read that in some states we CAN apply and my state is one of them!

You are right. It depends on which state. For example in Florida you can apply if you have I130-485 pending but have the I-797 for them.

                              Hi Guys!!

I'm just curious to know that still any of March fillers are awaiting for biometric appointment letter? I have filled my i485 under EB1A on feb 23rd 2018 and received NOA on 6th March and cheques encashed but never received any finger print appointment notice !!. Raised SR two weeks ago but they gave 30 days period to wait to hear back .. Just wanted to check is this happening with any of TSC fillers or unusual ? Appreciate any suggestion to expedite it .

I would like to give some personal feedback about it because i tried as soon as i got my i797c
, i went to one of the DMV in miami and they denied me this with different innacurate answers so i went to another one that was 20 miles away and they accepted it. Soo... Dont give up on the first DMV office because it definitely depends on the courtesy of the oficcer and their senior officer.

Also i have a questio: on my biometric appointment it says is for the i485 & i765; but i also filled the i131 for advance parole. Does this mean that only those two forms need my biometrics. Or is that my i131 biometric appointment is missing? :/

                                Best of luck to all.
