Hello everyone this forum has been so helpful. Just wanted to share our experiences. I married a lovely gal from Ghana in December last year, who was here on a student Visa

PD: march 27th
Biometrics: may 6th
Interview scheduled notice: September 1st
Interview: October 1st
EAD card in hand: October 1st

The I 765 and I 131 have been approved. Does anyone know if my petition I 130 will be approved before my wife's AOS I 485?

SR submitted, 10/03 responded still for review

still no ead card

my ead card got approved on 9/4 and I still havent gotten my card yet. i called contact center and the rep said needs to wait for 60 days for further actions. After 60 days, they can send another inquiry, which is going to take 30 days for them to reply. this is so unbelievable that i got approved but my approved time just got wasted and i cant work because i dont have the card.

anyone has the same situation?

I feel that they are using the days for further action just to make us angry. It is like administrative hell. I am so sorry you have to go through that.
I am not in something similar, as my EAD wasn't produced yet. But my PD already passed so I raised SR, of course they have time to answer. And I never received RFIE for 485, so my EAD is going nowhere. And SR for RFIE to be resent is also pending. On another thread somebody raised two SRs for EAD, each one took 2! months to reply and even Senator got reply, your case is being processed so I don't think there is anything that can be done just wait, try not to be angry (impossible to do) and wait

What was the answers from the SRs?

Nothing yet, they have until Oct 14th and 16th to answer, but on another thread which I mentioned upwards they may take their time.
I am going to call USCIS again in a moment, if I should file another SR as on the imaginary RFIE the date for that should be today.
By some miracle I managed to schedule Infopass appointment on Oct 15th so I am really hoping it will be useful so I can at least learn what is in the imaginary RFIE and prepare the docs if they ever sent it again...

EDIT: Called USCIS. EAD won't move until they process my answer to their RFIE for 485 which they may not send until Oct 25th! (Was told they take 30 days to reply for SR.) Fingers crossed I will actually receive it this time. Then they take 30-90 days to go over the reply. So my optimistic guess is, I will see some movement on my EAD at the end of year. Green card interview will probably be on a year, Montgomery is really slow and I have to yet find somebody who actually ever had GC interview there, but that is okay, I just want EAD to work meanwhile...

Are you done with the medical exam? I haven't had mine yet. Do I need to do it now or wait until I get the actual interview notice in the mail?

Interview cancelled? Is there a system error in the old uscis website?

This is so weird. I called the customer service, and he said that my interview is scheduled but they haven't sent out the notice yet. He said there isn't any cancellation on his system. On the new dhs website it still says that it's scheduled but on the old site it says it has been cancelled. I also received an email that they have cancelled it. OMG! I do not want to get my hopes up anymore. It's like uscis is playing with my emotions.
