Hello,
I have couple of questions about employer change while my I-485 is pending. I have applied for I-485 based on approved I-140 in EB1A category. Me and my wife received EAD/AP last month and we are waiting for I-485 approval (may be interview). Although this is EB1A based I-140, my employer sponsored the petition. I got an exciting offer this week for a position in related field and this position would help me great in my career.
1. Is it safe to switch employer before my I-485 is approved?
2. Is there anyway my employer can withdraw my I-485?
3. It has been 150 days so far on my I-485 (applied in Oct 2017). Is it safe to wait for another 30 days (total of 180 days) before I work for a new employer using my EAD?
