can someone help me with this situation ? Sorry for the long post
my husband filed I-130 for me back in December 2016 when he was a GC holder. He became USC on August 3rd 2017. He called and updated about it and asked if he has to mail or email his naturalization, representative told him he didn't have to so than I filed for my I-485 on end of August. I sent his copy naturalization certificate along with it. Got a receipt notice, did biometrics. Fast forward to October 2017 I thought him being USC was not updated because we received no email stating that it has been done or anything, my husband called them again and asked if they really did update it for him. The answer was yes again.
January 2018 : I was impatient because again we had no update so my husband called them again and asked about it and the representative told him that there was never a SR submitted to update the information. They wasted 5months !!!!!! I was so mad but they said they cannot do anything about it .
So after all these things they finally update the information, also I never realized the receipt notice i got stated my category as F2A. I called them to talk abou it but they said it will be fine.
I see my PD date is Dec 2016 but I have got nothing yet. my I-130 have been pending for more than a year in California service center. Do you all think after the upgrade it will be easier for things to go faster ?
