  • Fear about my Change of status application

    Hello,

I Applied for my change of status based on marriage with my spouse who is a US Citizen, I Applied on 01/23/2018 and Biometric taken on 02/23/2018. 3 weeks after i moved from Taxas to Ohio which i updated my file with USCIS.

My fear is that what will happen to my application if i move from one state to the other. Is there any consequence to this for moving from one state to another and will is affect my application process?

    Thank you.

I think Ohio is one of the states with lower wait times. You might get your interview soon than you would have in Texas.

Employment - Based on interview was schedule

Thank you for the last reply you send me. That was so helpful.

Today i tracked my application and there was two update today saying Employment - Based on interview was schedule for form I 485. Please what does this mean, the second stated that NOTICE WAS RETURNED TO USCIS BECAUSE THE POST OFFICE COULD NOT DELIVER IT. This notice is for my I 130 Application. I have updated the USCIS about our change of address on all my application but i dont know that i have to do it for form I 130 differently. The notice was only updated today, Please what can i do about this

i dont know what to say to USCIS besides just calling thhem and explaining this.
Also you can have your mail forwarded by USPS to your new address to prevent you from missing anything important.
Keep getting your mail and packages whereever you go: See how to temporarily forward mail or permanently change your address.
This is my opinion, not legal advice!
