Driving License (MA) Whilst AOS Pending

Hi all,

Has anyone had experience of sorting a drivers license whilst an AOS is pending? I know I could in theory drive on a uK license for a year within Massachusetts, but after that I would need a state driving license. I intend on getting one as quickly as I can as soon as I am legally able to.

In order to gain one, i would need evidence of lawful residence. Is having a pending application for a green card deemed okay and enough to apply for a driving license? Has anyone filed in Massachusetts and had an experience they can share/offer advise?

so as long as you get your EAD while your AOS is pending you should be good to go
