Am I required to disclose traffic fine in I-485 (Part-8, Question 25)?
Hi,
I got a speeding ticket (don't remember the exact amount but it was less than $200) in 2014 which I paid off. Do I need to disclose this on I-485? What should I answer to the following question?
I-485, Part-8, Question-25: "Have you EVER been arrested, cited, charged, or detained for any reason by any law enforcement official (including but not limited to any U.S. immigration official or any official of the U.S. armed forces or U.S. armed forces or U.S. Coast Guard?" YES/NO
If the answer is Yes, what should I provide as Additional Information (in Part-14)? Only thing I remember is Date and Location. I do not have the ticket number. I also do not have my Driver's Licence # that I used that time (I had to renew Driver's License couple of times due to F-1 extension and job related relocation).
I would really appreciate if you could kindly advise me on this. Thank you so much.
