Any January Filers receive EAD card or interview notice?

I have received notices for adjustment of status with the received date of 18th Jan 2018, but till now i have not received the bio-metrics appointment. I have called customer service and they raised a service case and asked me to wait for 15-30 days.
Please let me know if this is normal scenario.

I don't think it is. Some people's cases are moving fast while others are like extra slow. At this point I think it's best to just be patient and not even think about it.

The Courtesy Letter is a notice reminding the applicant that they didn't submit it and to bring it to the interview or whenever they request it before the interview.

Did you receive automatically the emails or you made a request of any kind? Just curious because I've never heard about people receiving emails for an update with no actual updates though.

So far, same status BUT as of 28th March my i485 is now ?user defined error?. Cant pull up my case... some threads says, that with this error and as per thr call with uscis, L2 officer said that we should be expecting a mail or progress in the next coming days - maybe in 2 weeks time.

where are you trying to access your case from? I have the same error if i try to access from: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do but if you create your account at https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ you can see your cases there, and at least in my situation, there are no errors displayed in there. My time line is only a few days after yours, had my bio done on 3/5 and there are no updates on yet.

Same happened to another person I know from Dayton OH, her PD was December 28 she interviewed March 20th without receiving an EAD first.
