Hi guys
Just to set the scene, I am a student/ soccer coach from the UK and met my girlfriend in Hawaii 2 years ago while on a H2B visa. As i knew i couldn't be placed in Hawaii again the following year, we both arranged to move to to Washington state and we where lucky enough that both of us got a job there. The following year i returned on a J1 visa as i am now on a student/exchange visitor programme through university back home. Through my programme i live with host families the majority of the time while also living with my girlfriend in the off season and Christmas (although not on the lease). She has visited my family in England and we have returned to Hawaii twice since then.
We plan to get married next month, and then apply for AOS following that.
Iv been looking through the documents needed for proof of bonafide marriage, and i have seen the section regarding living together. We do not live together yet officially, as i stay with host families throughout Washington and Oregon as we have soccer programmes in both states throughout the season. She also works 12 hour shifts at a hospital and needs to live close to work. Will this prove to be an issue during the interview? Or does the evidence of both of us rearranging our jobs and locations to be together rectify this?
Also for all my documents i have received this year, including new SSN i have had them sent to her address even though I'm not on the lease, would these be good?
Any other advice on documents to use etc, would be brilliant thanks
