Hi, I just had an initial interview with a cis for the residency.
I am married to a US citizen lady, we had a nice interview with the officer, and everything went well, but I did not get an OK right away, she wrote 'Pending I 485 CR 6..' on my passport, and she said said that I will hear from them by mail.

We asked another officer there while walking out of the interview building just to make sure everything is allright, she said you guys dont have to worry, you will get the approval by mail, the thing is we want to update some files..

What do you think? Can anyone help? How long does it take for me to get it?

I been married to US citizen for 3 years.I had my interview on 04/11/06 and same like u i didn't get the approval right away.She told us to wait for the mail,should be less than one month..What happened is,that it's been 2 monts so far and I'm still waiting,did not receive any mail from them.I will let u know when I get some letter.You let me know too.I KNOW HOW HARD IS TO WAIT...
