U Visa Beneficiary to Adjustment of Status I-485
Hello,
I am a current U Visa beneficiary through my mother. We submitted our adjustment of status application in late August of 2017. My EAD expired on October of that same year. However, I was granted an automatic 180 day extension until April 13th of 2018. My concern is that I did my biometrics with my family on October of last year and have not heard anything back ever since. I applied for both a EAD renewal through the I765 form along with my I485 form. Since my automatic extension will be expiring soon I wont be able to work. Is anyone having a similar experience or can provide useful info? I'm just curious if I will get a EAD or if it will be the green card if approved. And my other concern is, will my legal status as a U Visa beneficiary also expire along with my EAD?
