Birth Certificate Question

I've ready many forum posts and other pages on this and other websites pertaining to birth certificate requirements for I-485. I believe my situation is somewhat unique and I have a few questions.

Key details:
- Canadian citizen through naturalization
- Working in the US on TN status
- Recently married American citizen (by birth)
- No original birth certificate, but have a copy of the notarized/translated version
- No name on original or notarized/translated version, except my parents'

It will be very hard for me to obtain the original birth certificate as we no longer have significant ties in, or upcoming trips to, India. Can the copy of notarized/translated birth certificate be used in addition to other documents? Can this be corroborated with other documents, like my old Indian passport, Canadian landing paper (which has my date of birth and parents' names), or affidavits from both of my parents?

I don?t know about ?no name? on the notarized/translated version but I don?t have my own ?original? birth certificate. I went to consulate in the US to get it and they gave me a paper says birth certificate. It?s just a print out. I know this is not your answer but I wanted to say that my birth certificate is also from consulate and it?s just like a paper in English language. Of course, mine has my name on it with my parent?s name. I unfortunately don?t know what happens when your name isn?t written on it.

So far it is working. I got my SSN and my EAD. Right now I am waiting for my interview to be scheduled. Also my lawyer did not say anything like it doesn?t work or it may cause a problem. Besides, someone I know used the same kind of a birth certificate and got her card 😄
