I have a similar question as well. I submitted my application last week and still waiting for receipt number. However noticed an unintentional error on Part 8/Question 15 regarding visa refusal history. Instead of YES, I updated it as NO. Any idea how I can get this corrected?

I was previously married and I mention that never was married. I know it?s important . So if I can?t make any correction in 485 form, just be ready to explain that in the interview ?

Setting aside the nature of your omission. Here's how I would address a mistake or omission. I would wait to get the receipts, call and ask to speak with a Level 2 officer and go from there.
Unsolicited advice... I would not wait until the interview.

Already got receipts. But it?s already 5 month gone. It?s long story why I did not mention. Thank you for advice.

I walked into the interview and immediately said "I need to update my answers to a few questions, whish I realized were incorrect answers".

We went thru the entire form and made those changes.

I was approved 4 or 5 days later.
