You won't be able to "renew" your license. From what I read, you have to submit your application as if it were your first. I skimmed through the document. Double check yourself.

Yeah, i might give the DMV HQ in Richmond a call. The first PDF file you linked has the latest data 07/2018. If nothing else, that sets the precedent. The attorneys are telling me a different story.
The USCIS field office closest to me is 1 hour away (by car). I checked. Uber or Lyft is the way to go I suppose, unless the EAD shows up before that.AOS (C9) EB2

Alternatively, you could try getting a driver's license in NJ or maybe Delaware?
I would just go to your local DMV and bring all your I-797s. Print screenshots from your online USCIS accounts, screenshots from your case tracker app. That way you can back up your I-797 I-485 pending and give the DMV officer peace of mind that you are in fact adjusting status.

Proof of residence will be tricky for anything out of state. Besides, i can't even drive so i'm marooned in my city. Thankfully I can ride my bike to work.
I'm in a farily rural location. The DMV officers aren't as in the know. I remember them being a little lost and less than helpful when I last extended my drivers license while on H1b--official documents. They had to call Richmond and had me wait for a couple of hours at the DMV only to tell me "come back another day". I figure i'll get more clarity by calling Richmond next week and see what they say rather than trying to convince my local DMV.
Thanks for your suggestions though!AOS (C9) EB2

Here is a screenshot of a template I found online. UPS and most banks usually have a notary public on site.

I think i'll hold off. It sounds rather risky. Given the current immigration climate, I really don't want to give anybody any excuse to pick me up in a Black Suburban and drive me to some field office for questioning.AOS (C9) EB2

I simplified the signature because you can only fit 500 characters total. It seems like that includes spaces, too.

As you can see, opting in to receive all and any kind of alerts saved the day here. My local post office saw the mailing and rerouted it to our previous address in North Carolina. Seriously??? We had canceled the mail forwarding service more than a week before that. So as soon as they scanned it and set it to be forwarded, I got an alert. I rushed out of the house and headed there. Took my husband's driver's license, his passport, our marriage certificate. The postal clerk went to the back and had one of the warehouse guys dig it out of a truck that was headed to the airport. I mean...
Do everything in your power to make sure you get it. You can even tell your post office to hold it at the post office for you. That way if you aren't home, you can just go pick it up.
All the best,
USCFFS
PS: It was mailed on the 3rd and I got it on the 4th. Originally, USPS showed ETD of 08-06-18 by 8pm.

Both I-765 and I-131 are approved as indicated by the DHS site.
Lets see if i get a tracking number before the weekend! It's getting closer!!
Sitting tight!
p.s. The September Visa Bulletin was published. It's caused quite a bit of uproar because final action dates for almost ALL employment-based (EB1, 2, 3) GCs have retrogressed. I guess USCIS is swamped and they're using this time to get caught up--See section G. Honestly, i'll be happy to have my EAD in hand for now!
