May some people help me with this confusion

Got married with a US Citizen: Dec 2017
I-130 submitted: 03/21/2018
I-485, I-765 04/09/2018
I got all the receipts number with those Priorities dates
Never scheduled for Biometrics yet and I get an update today about a RFE
I'm so confusing the USCIS is skipping the steps or what ???????

Hi there,

yes, it can be a bit confusing. They're likely not skipping any steps. You are likely missing something ID related. It could be a birth certificate. Some countries have an extended version and an extract. USCIS seems to prefer the long version. I am inferring it may be ID related because they have to be sure you are you, in order to send you for biometrics appointment. Does that make sense?
You can call USCIS and ask to speak to a level 2 officer and find out what the RFE is for.

On the USCIS website it states that once your birth certificate in any language other than english you are required to send in a certified translated copy.

Yeah as mentioned above, all documents that are not in English must be accompanied by an official translation. This is likely the reason for the RFIE.

It happens. Just get started on the translation. It has to be an exact translation - within reason, of course. The translation should be formatted to look like the original. In other words, if the date is on the top left corner, do the same on the translation. It's just easier for the adjudicator to make sense of your document if the french copy and the translation have the same number of lines, etc. You get the idea.
Certified translation does not mean you have to pay for some licensed interpreter to do this for you. It can't be you and it can't be your spouse. Outside of that, it can be another French speaker who can attest he/she is competent to translate from French into English.

Request for evidence already submitted

Hi, has anybody received a RFE of a document you already submitted? They're asking for my marriage certificate which was already submitted with my original package. Why could they ask for something that was already sent?

I sent an original copy of the certificate because it says on the document itself that it is a felony to copy or reproduce the document. But we have other originals. Could they have rejected because it was an original? But to copy it would be to tell me to commit a felony. My maiden name appears in the certificate but r also appears listed in "other names" in the application. Can't think any reason they ask for that again.

Anyway I wanna let you know guys, so far instead of the RFE i got the biometrics appointment schedduled on May 8, in New Orleans
Still waiting to the RFE notice

I apologize I did not communicate clearly there. I shared the link with you to reassure you that you do not need to pay a professional translator to have the document "certified". Whoever does it for you can either attach a separate page with the statement or include it on the document. We did the latter.
