January Filer : Application got approved today!

        Hi All,

Want to share my AOS time-line with you :

Filed concurrently I-485 and I-765 along with I-864

Applications received : Jan 19, 2018 at Chicago office
        Bio-metrics done : Feb 12, 2018
receipt number : MSCxxxxxxxxxxxx (i.e. Processing Center NBC)
Interview : Today, haven't receive my EAD card as of now.

We had an interview today at 7:30 AM, we were called into a cabin by an officer in 5 minutes after we reached the USCIS office in Kansas City, Missouri.
We had two photo albums with us, seven folders (YES SEVEN, just don't wanna leave any document at home that the officer might ask) containing copy of all the documents which we sent, recent pay-stubs, documents related to us and our relationship(original and copy) etc etc.

The interview went for 40-50 minutes, the officer was very nice to me and my spouse.
Initially, the officer started verifying all the information which we provided in I-485 (this itself took around 10 minutes) and then asked us below questions :

        1. When did we meet?
        2. When did we meet in person?
        3. When did you decided go get married?
        4. How long have you been in relationship?
        5. Travel dates and related questions.
        6. Asked for proof of cohabitation. - We provided Lease Agreement, joint bank account statements, insurance, joint tax returns.
        7. The officer then asked if we want to present any other additional evidences. We showed him around 100+ photos of me and my spouse together.
        8. What do I do for living?
        9. Where is my wife employed, her date of birth.
        10. what does my wife like about me.
        11. How the casual dating turned into a serious relationship.
and some more questions which I can not recall right now.

The officer was very nice to us, kept cracking jokes while asking the questions to make us feel comfortable.
I was surprised that the officer did not ask for anything like my passport or my wife's passport, date of birth certificate. It might because of the fact that I included the copies of all the documents with my application along with Original Marriage Certificate.

At the end of the interview the officer told that he needs to review some things and if everything checks out my application will be approved, you can expect a green card in two weeks.

I was pretty nervous when the officer said the last statement at the end of the interview as the interview went pretty good and we answered all the questions without any hesitation, was expecting a statement like 'I'll be approving the application' or something like this.

Anyways, came home got an email after 4 hours stating that my case is approved and the Card is in production. Now, I'll be waiting for the card and will start applying for the job.
Never in my life I ever thought that I'll be this keen and eager for work as I have not earned a single penny in last 6 months.

To be honest I feel lucky that the wait time is soon going to end, wanted to share my experience here with you guys as your experiences helped me a lot in this process.
I'll be more than happy to assist anyone who is in doubt or need some advice about the process, please drop me a message. I might take a day or two but will definitely reply back.

Good luck to everyone and thanks a lot for sharing the knowledge here, it helps a lot!
        Thank you all.

The processing time for washington office on USCIS website is showing 10.5 to 18 months. Apparently, that's no where near accurate.

              Hi,

The officer asked us many questions around 20ish, also we gave him details starting from how we met till when we get married so that also consumed some time. Apart from that we showed the officer 100+ photos explaining each photo like where the photo was taken and when was it taken.

But the officer was very nice in those 50 minutes, so we also told him some extra stuff we did together from our side which he didn?t ask just to make our case strong.

              Thanks!

Congrats! That could not have gone better! Thank you for sharing your experience.
Just a couple of comments. So typically, if they're going to take their time reviewing, they're supposed to approve your EAD/AP at the end of the interview. In your case the ISO did not offer that. And truth is, you do not want them to offer that. It's never a good sign.
Please correct me if my impression here is accurate. You sent every document you could possibly send as evidence of bona fide marriage with your applications. Brought EVEN MORE to the interview. Question,
                1. did it feel like the ISO was familiar with your case? Was the ISO actually looking at you two while you were talking or did it seem like he had not looked through anything at all?
                2. Had you already submitted the I-693 or did you bring it to the interview?

Again, congrats! and thank you for sharing the wealth.
