I864 Affidavit of Support question.

Hi Guys,

i am immigrant on h1-b visa, beginning of year i married to us citizen , trying to file adjustment of status , wife is unemployed, so we are planning to show my income in affidavit support i make well above requirements. in instructions they state that i need proof that my income will continue from same source till i become lawful permanent resident. My visa is going to expire in July ,though my visa extension is currently in process and got RFE recently. my employer will be sending additional proof to resolve that. Is there any risk on showing my income in I864 until i my extension approved?

I am wondering if anyone had experience filing adjustment of status and file I864 with intending immigrant's income proof. Thanks

My situation is similar, slightly more secure because my visa is valid until 2019 at the moment. My husband (the American) makes barely over the required income, so I put mine and we make a decent amount. I attached a letter from my employer stating that my visa is valid until 2019. I guess every kinda of proof is good to endorse you case
